The linen closet...

Postby Kymy on Sun Aug 05, 2007 6:33 pm

My house may often be a disater... but besides my sink there is always one other thing that is ALWAYS clean... & it is the one place in mose clean houses thats always a mess... my linen closet!!!

My trick... I went to target & got plastic storages tubs big enough for each set of sheets... They are clear so I can see through them & I stick a dry sheet in the tub to keep the smelling fresh! They I just stack them all up nicely & its perfect! If you don't have a linen closet you can find ones that eaisly slide under the bed.

It is so nice to go in for a fresh set a sheets & be able to find them!

I did this for 3 reasons... 1.) gets rid of that funky linen closet smell! 2.) Keeps everything organized & easy to find (we have King & full size sheets) & finally 3.) my closet is only 18" wide!!!!

Great idea. What size were the boxes? Shoebox size or the flatter ones.

I used show box size for the twins... the next size up for fulls & thinner queens... & the next size up for King & flannel or thick Queens. I can look at the tubs if you want.
